The Sinclair Method is a process to "Train Your Brain"

image2

The Sinclair Method is a process of retraining your brain.

As all the research, clinical trials, and thousands of  thankful proponents and advocates of The Sinclair Method proclaim--  "it works!"... supporting the efficacy of the method's protocols and ultimate success at ultimately diminishing,  and ultimately eliminating one's craving for alcohol.

It is a very simple course--  that simply requires time and self-discipline... which within this context, only requires that you take the pill  (Naltrexone) an hour before you anticipate drinking.

What could be simpler?

The only thing that is not simple-- is learning patience. It is recognized that those undergoing this method... begin to get impatient expecting some discernible or noticeable results after a few months... and tend to become disappointed or skeptical within the first few months.

Months 1-3

  • Consult with your physician and coach, set goals, and create a plan
  • Begin weekly check-ins with your coach, and continue to follow up with your physician
  • HAVE PATIENCE! Believe in the process.  Just make sure you take pill before drinking... RELIGIOUSLY!

Months 3-6

  • Start seeing results and continue working towards your goals (you will begin to leave unfinished booze in your glass).
  • Your Care Team will adjust treatment as necessary
  • Continue working with your coach on goal-setting and behavior change
  • Exercise more patience... this is the tough period when everyone gets anxious to see signs that it is working.

Months 6-9

  • Start approaching your goals and establishing lasting change
  • Your physician and coach will help you create a foundation for long-term success

Months 9-12

  • Achieve lasting change in your relationship with alcohol (either moderation or abstinence)
  • Come away with evidence-based tools and techniques to help you in your daily life

Protocols for Compliance

Compliance means adherence to the basic rule of the Sinclair Method...

(1) pill (1) hour before drinking. Period!

It's like taking vitamins... you take them because you know they are  good for you and ar probably working... not because you can feel anything from them!

...well, maybe a little bit...
